Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address and phone number.
• Delivery addresses you save to your account or enter at checkout.
• Order history — what you bought, when, and what you paid.
• Return and exchange requests — including the photographs you upload to support a request.
• Technical data needed to run the site, such as your session and basic error logs.

We do not collect or store your card number, UPI ID, CVV or bank credentials at any point.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Card, UPI and net-banking details are entered on Razorpay's secure payment screen and handled entirely by them. We receive only a payment reference and the outcome of the transaction, which we store against your order so we can support refunds later.

Who we share your data with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers needed to complete your order:

• Razorpay — to take payment and process refunds.
• Shiprocket and its courier partners — your name, delivery address and phone number, so your parcel can be delivered and returns collected.
• Resend — to send order confirmations, shipping updates and other transactional email.
• Supabase — our database and authentication provider, where your account and order data is stored.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect against fraud.

Return photographs

Images uploaded with a return or exchange request are stored in private storage, not on any public URL, and are visible only to our team while assessing your request.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and make core checkout features work. We do not use them to build advertising profiles. Your cart is stored in your own browser and is cleared when you sign out.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are retained for as long as required under Indian tax and accounting law. Account details are kept while your account is open. Return photographs are kept for the life of the related request and our records of it.

Your rights

You can ask us to correct or delete your personal information, or to send you a copy of what we hold, by writing to contact@mydesignspot.com. You can update your name, phone number and saved addresses yourself from your account at any time.

Note that we may need to retain certain order and tax records even after an account is closed, where the law requires it.

Grievance Officer

Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and we aim to resolve them within 30 days.
